I’m not ashamed to admit my OBSESSION with Forever 21. Great clothes, great prices. What isn’t to love? Well, except the lines to check out. Anyway, my husband and I often get in the discussion about the fact that there are plenty of “cheap” clothing stores out there for women that carry trendy, cute clothes, but how many are there for boys… zero. Well, in the kingdom that Forever 21 is becoming (so many different lines, now even kids clothes!) they also carry men’s clothing in their Heritage 1981 line. I know this isn’t new news, but the line hasn’t really been that great until recently. It takes a while to get things moving, understandable. Anyway, H1981 has some super cute.. or um, handsome… guys stuff out right now. Ch ch ch ch ch check it out boys- or girls.

YAY! Valentine’s Day is in 2 days!! My hubby and I are going to Disney World for the day. And we also got DJ Hero to share for V-day.

I know I’m in the minority with my love for the big day o’ love, but I don’t love it because of gifts from significant others, I love it because it’s a day of love. So what if you’re alone one V-day? Buy yourself a gift and go out with your girlfriends. Buy each other gifts. Go get that pair of shoes you really wanted but didn’t have a reason to buy- the reason is that you love yourself and you deserve them for being the super star that you are.

OK- I’m off my corny soap box- but seriously- you gotta love yourself before anyone else can.

Alexander McQueen

I’m sure most of you have heard by now that Alexander McQueen was found dead in his home this morning. I’m not one for the morbid, but I wanted to make a little tribute for him. Someone said that losing him is to fashion what losing Michael Jackson was to music. I agree. Alexander was amazing. RIP.

Sorry for my absence lately. I’ve been super busy/ super sick.

Anyway, everyone been checking out the super fun trends right now?? Nudes-florals-demin(yuck)-Apple Tablet computers, oh my!

Nudes- Love!- I’ve been on the hunt for a perfect pair of nude pumps (that don’t cost an arm and a leg). I love all that nude-tones are bringing to the table. The taupe nail polish, the shoes, jackets, skirts, accessories. Love it.

Floral- Trends seem to be making a big circle. I remember floral being super-cool when I was younger. I still love it. It’s so girly and glamorous. You can wear it in so many ways. I’m really excited about this trend.

Denim- Shoot me now. Please don’t let denim on denim be trendy. It’s possibly one of the worst combinations I’ve ever seen. I don’t care who is wearing it, it will always be tacky in my world.

Apple Tablet Computer (iPad)- Not so much fashion as just cool that they finally released it! You should check it out, although, I don’t know that it’s the most practical computer on earth.

Also, if you didn’t get the “Bueller” thing. Shame on you- watch more movies!

I’m not sure what it is, but something about Valentine’s Day is extremely appealing to me. Since I can remember, I’ve been a Valentine’s Day fanatic. I love the hearts and pink and red and all that goes along with it. Even if you don’t have anyone to spend it with, enjoy it! Treat yourself!

Anyway, I’m going to do a few Valentine’s Day posts (I know, I’m starting a little bit early). Today is heart clothing and accessories. Don’t attempt to wear all these pieces together, as you will look like an idiot. But how cute is this stuff?!
